Today's generation's eyes see everything-from the Simpsons to Johny Bravo-things that they shouldn't see. Seeing half-naked women and hearing awful words, some that even I won't say. And today's generation is the future. So what will the future bring?
Sure, most people say, "We're so advanced now, everyone will be so smart..." But what about the majority? Either they don't have education at all (not their fault), or they waste away their lives joking around in school. Man, high-school drop-outs are going up, and educated people are going down. Then you might hear someone say, "Yeah, but the educated people are REALLY smart! They'll make up for all of us." You can't depend on a few hundred people to keep the world spinning.
Maybe the answer are aliens. Out of nowhere, aliens will invade us and then decide to save our dying world. Right. Please, tell me when that happens. Right now, I feel like doing something useful.
Couch potatoes are THE worst. You know what? The TV is the worst thing that ever happened. Nobody watches awesome channels, like National Geographic or Discovery Science, and anyone can change to a bad channel. Just a click away. And even the kids shows are being infected. Have you ever watched Cartoon Network with your kid?
Just watch the TV for a minute. Watch all the exploding and wars and disrespect. And then look at your child's face glued to the TV. Influential.
So please, if you have any children, do the world a favour, and DON'T BUY A TV!!!
